- Sensibility: Some melodrama and painful dialogue choices make some of this film hard to rationalize, even with the truth of the story overall.
- Cinematography: The film suffers from visuals, graphic overlays, and soundtrack/score that all betray the film as a much lower budget picture than it is. Hair and makeup are pretty solid and inspired, but otherwise little visual merit.
- Energy: Great watch almost entirely propelled by Rose Byrne's dominant prowess. However, there simply isn't enough meat on the bone to keep the viewer's attention.
- Narrative: The film has a strong core concept that struggles with the side characters and finesse. A painfully obvious paid-for executive producer's self-insertion into the film is distracting, unnecessary, and overall detrimental. The story struggles to avoid clichés and also can't quite seem to find enough substance to merit it's run-time.
- T-Points: The film received one bonus point for Rose Byrne's absolutely incredible, immersive performance.
Rose Byrne runs circles around the whole cast for 2 hours. Interesting semi-true story with a decent message but lacking in the finesse needed to take it to the next level.
