- S: Often nonsensical, although large parts of the story are symbolic or simply for comedic effect. The apocalypse context lacks substance and has many inconsistencies throughout.
- C: Some interesting shot choices. The sets feel as though the movie is an adaptation of a play with their simplicity.
- E: This film is just boring. Their is a lot of going in circles and repetition. Even if that is intentional or meant to communicate a theme, it is still excessive. The grand climax at the end
falls flat given there are nearly no stakes presented throughout the film.
- N: There is a good structure to the beginning, but then it falls apart in the endless wandering through the forest and repeated non-sensical attempts to add/write the over-ly satirized political statement.
The comedy aspects of the film fall flat because the story has so little purpose to make any of the jokes worthwile. If the whole story is a joke, is there really anything to laugh at?
- T: The film received one bonus point for a great opening shot.
Feels like if a bunch of theater kids from high school tried to write a political commentary but were told to make it funny. Missed the mark on almost all fronts.
