- Sensibility: A few moments of melodramatic dialogue and choreography choices feel out of place, but, on the whole, quite reasonable even with the extreme tragedy and violence of the story.
- Cinematography: A few moments where the editing leaves repetitive cliffhangers, especially on the transitions between the different perspectives. However, the parallel storylines are so well shot and choreographed that it really feels like they were all filmed simultaneously.
- Energy: The repetition in the storylines and the interruptions in flow during the changes in persective take away from the film a bit, but otherwise the story is tragic and the
themes are important enough to keep things in focus.
- Narrative: A very interesting parallel storylines narrative gives the film it's main message about the struggles of Saudi refugees. However, some of these storylines feel repetitive or unnecessary to capture the
message and emotional depth of the film.
- T-Points: The film received two bonus points: one for a great bit of dialogue about treasonous boys growing into treasonous men and one for a dupe arrest in a forest.
Solid film for a great cause. It's nice to see that film's meant to draw in donations can get the level of attention and craftsmanship to make them excellent films apart from their great cause.
