- S: Many instances where dialogue feels forced or out of place.
- C: Costuming and scenery are the most interesting part of the film. Not much else of note.
- E: The movie drags heavily by focusing on tiny, insignificant events. The movie feels like all set-up no punch-line.
- N: This movie was almost entirely exposition and far too focused on minutia. Hopefully, in conjunction with the second part, the two-part epic as a whole is worth watching.
- T: No bonus points.
Extremely disappointing, particularly given how partial I am to Westerns. My only hope is that this epic in conjunction with the second part gives it some spark.
