- Sensibility: Some of the wanton violence, a cop's open criminal involvement, and a very clean resolution damage the ability to suspend disbelief in this wild story.
- Cinematography: Production design is interesting and helps establish the time and place of the film. Costuming is excellent and critical to character definition and some solid camera work makes for some interesting visuals. That being said, lighting and exposure give this film a bland look that doesn't fit with the grit of the narrative.
- Energy: Fun, action-packed watch that lulls a bit around a lot of back and forth over a key.
- Narrative: The film sets a solid background for the character, giving time to understand some motivations before jumping into the action. However, the criminal plot is so complicated and involves so many individuals that the ending feels over-simplified and lackluster.
- T-Points: The film received one bonus point for some shots of cars wrapping around poles.
Gritty story without the visual grit to back it up. Feels like the love-child of Trainspotting and The Big Lebowski but without any of the best parts of those films to make this one shine.
