• S: The reality of the main character's high-pressure job feel farfetched with his worsening condition. Additionally, the end sequence, although hard to discern if taking place in reality or in the character's mind, is unreasonable given the state that he is in.
• C: I was surprised how much this supposed gangster-action movie had to offer from a shot choice and framing perspective. Of particular note are the dream sequences and scenes at the waterfront. The editing also does a great job of letting the viewer piece together what happens between scenes for themselves. Very often, there is dialogue that could have been used to communicate where the next scene would be that is just cut from the film. As counter-intuitive as this is, it gives the movie a more realistic feel where new characters in scenes are learning about background happenings at the same time as you are. Haven't seen many movies like this before.
• E: The movie holds attention very well, but it's just too long. The ending feels about 10 mins too long, and there is a lull in the middle with repetitive encounters with the main character's romantic partner.
• N: The movie is an excellent blend of crime-thriller and broken-family drama. However, there are moments where the criminal part of the main character's life feel tangential to the primary story about his family and condition. Unfortunately, some of the gangster elements feel forced in an effort to make the movie more successful at the box office. However, this is redeemed by the excellence of the family and romantic dramatics.
• T: The film received two bonus points: one for a surprising and brilliant scene involving a car at a water-front and a young girl and one for some brilliant dream sequences that I felt really capture the meaning in absurdity that dreams hold.

This movie is very unique. I don't think I've seen anything quite like it. Surprisingly good watch about love and family. The film feels like a mess of too many different ideas, but in reflection, this is often how a real person's life is. It is a hodgepodge of jobs, family, and partners that is often ugly and maybe a even bit boring at times, but it has moments that hold profound meaning, just like this film does.
